Dear MI Freedom Center Supporters,
In response to the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic the Board of Directors considered the advice of experts in the National Institutes of Health, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, World Health Organization, and the US Surgeon General in making a decision to
temporarily suspend operations
at all four MI Freedom Centers
effective immediately
. This action is consistent with the Department of Defense "Stop Movement for all Domestic Travel for DoD Components in Response to Coronavirus Disease 2019" memorandum dated Mar 13 2020.
Regardless of where we may be located, we are all advised to engage in diligent CDC-based hygiene protocols that include the following:
- Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing; going to the bathroom; and before eating or preparing food. If you are at the McNamara Terminal, please use hand sanitizer or visit nearby restroom facilities in light of lack of running water.
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
- Stay home when you are sick.
- Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.

The Board will continue to review the situation and update guidance on operations as warranted. We anticipate that this will be a temporary setback and look forward to the resumption of the execution of our mission to serve those who serve us.
