Pursuant to Supreme Court Rule 24-101, the Board of Bar Commissioners is the elected governing board of the State Bar of New Mexico. Notice is hereby given for the 2022 Board of Bar Commissioners election of nine commissioners for the State Bar of New Mexico. The terms found by clicking on the button below will expire Dec. 31 and need to be filled in the upcoming election. All of the positions are three-year terms and run from Jan. 1, 2023-Dec. 31, 2025, except for one position in the Third and Sixth Judicial Districts which is a one-year term. The election opens Nov. 10 and closes at noon Nov. 30. Nomination petitions must be received by 3 p.m. on Oct. 11.
