Plessinger is currently employed by American Airlines in Fort Worth, Texas as a Network Planning Analyst. His responsibilities include management of airline scheduling for major airports, operational reliability, maintaining operational budgets, adherence to operational requirements and guidelines, staffing levels to support operations, capacity planning and feasibility studies. He is also involved in the coordination of airport runway and terminal construction, equipment inventories, and marketing.
A native of St. Thomas, PA, Plessinger was selected for the position based on his experience and demonstrated knowledge in commercial airport operations, his education, and diverse background both domestic and internationally. He is a graduate of James Buchanan High School in Mercersburg, PA and has earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Southern Utah University. He currently resides in Fort Worth, Texas.

said Garrison Plessinger. He will be relocating to Washington County, MD with his family and will begin his duties at the Airport on November 5, 2018.

“Although my retirement from Hagerstown Regional Airport is bittersweet, I feel that the Board has made an excellent appointment with Mr. Plessinger. He brings a fresh opinion to air operations and I feel he will be a true asset to the airport and Washington County. I look forward to working with him and assisting in his growth at the airport.”
