Submit Public Comments Virtually to the Board of Supervisors

The Albemarle County Board of Supervisors is piloting eComment, a new feature that allows our community to provide public comments on upcoming agenda items, any time, from anywhere.

You'll find this new feature on our agenda site; you'll see a column to the far right titled "eComment" with the option available only beside the upcoming meeting's agenda, starting with the April 1 meeting of the Board of Supervisors. You can submit your eComment up to 30 minutes before the start of the meeting. All comments are public and can be seen by anyone. At this time, users of eComment can only comment on public hearing items and ‘From the Public: Matters Not Listed for Public Hearing on the Agenda.' You may also upload attachments to accompany your eComments.

Users must create an account to leave an eComment and can also sign up to be notified when a new agenda for comment becomes available.

The Board of Supervisors will continue to receive comments anytime through email ( [email protected]) or by mail (401 McIntire Road, 2 nd Floor, Charlottesville, VA 22902). You are encouraged to submit your public comments through whichever means works for you.
