Key Points from the Special Session Meetings

held on September 30, 2026

  • The Board approved, as presented, three planning and zoning items related to re-designating ±4,695.89 acres of Arizona State Land located north of Skyline Drive and Highway 79, from Employment, Moderate Low Density Residential, and Very Low Density Residential to the 'Special District' land-use designation, and rezoning the parcel from GR General Rural Zone to I-3 Industrial Zoning District. (Items 3,4,5)
  • The Board held two Executive Sessions for legal advice related to: the County Attorney's ethical obligations to the Board of Supervisors, his scope of representation, and Arizona Bar requirements in light of various activities, statements and actions made by the County Attorney to or about the Pinal County Board of Supervisors collectively or individually (Item 1); and the Board's role, obligations, and responsibilities in regard to A.R.S. 11-1005. (Item 2)

Members of the public wishing to address the Pinal County Board of Supervisors may do so in person at the Call to the Public section of Regular Board Meetings. Action taken as a result of public comment will be limited to directing staff to study the matter or rescheduling the matter for

further consideration and decision at a later date.
