Dear WCC Members,

As the long days of summer fade into fall, we hope you’ve had the chance to enjoy time on the water and connect with fellow WCC members this season.

We have great news to share. Our Boathouse Rehabilitation Campaign is steadily moving forward—and thanks to our generous community of supporters, we have surpassed $665,000! That’s two-thirds towards our $1 million goal! Over half of our members have contributed to date. Imagine what we can accomplish if all members contribute!

There’s more good news. The Old Georgetown Board (OGB) has officially signed off on our boathouse rehab plan – the major final hurdle for the club.

With the OGB approval in hand, our Building Restoration Committee is moving forward with construction drawings – the final step before going out to bid this fall!

If you’ve already contributed to the campaign, thank you! Your support means so much! Please consider sharing our campaign with a friend, teammate, or former WCC member, and encourage them to join you in supporting this important effort.

If you haven’t had a chance to give yet, now is a great time! Every donation, no matter the size, brings us one step closer to our goal. Click here to make a tax-deductible online donation or amplify your impact with a 3-year pledge. Make an online pledge with a yearly gift via PayPal or download the pledge form.

If you’d like to learn more. We’d love to schedule a time to speak with you—just reply to this email to let us know.

Momentum is growing, and we’re grateful to have you with us on this journey. We look forward to continuing to keep you updated on our progress! And, of course, if you haven’t already given please consider making a generous gift today.

Happy paddling!
