"Paint Sketching on Location."
Welcome back to another BobBlast!
For my on-location workshops, having a simple and portable kit of my "tools" is very important. We don't lug around heavy easels and lots of equipment...
everything we need fits in a canvas bag!
In this short video, I show you my toolkit of supplies that I use in my international workshops - watch the whole video because I also do a small paint sketch outdoors in the elements!
In my canvas bag:
*Sketchbook
*Watercolor paper pad (my favorite - Strathmore Bristol or Fabriano Studio Pad)
*Brushes - just 3 or 4
*Paint (my favorite - Holbein Artist Acrylic or Holbein Watercolor)
*Sketching pens (my favorite - Faber-Castell Pit Artist Pens)
*Derwent InkTense Pencils
*Hand Salve
*Paper Towels
*Tape
*Portable table easel (my favorite - Art Essentials)
*Small water container
*Don't forget your hat!
Keep it simple and portable!
