NEFA's Fall Fest is moving to Worcester, MA on November 16 & 17. Once again,
NEFA has put together a tremendous series of workshops that feature the best names in the industry -- and some of the most important topics you will hear on a local level.
NEFA's Spotlight Drycleaner: Bobby Patel of Kona Cleaner
NEFA is bringing in one of the nation's leading drycleaners to share his experiences, business practices, and secrets to growing his business and his brand.
His program: "Marketing Then & Now" will explore how Kona Cleaners' Marketing has changed over time. His journey from from knowing very little about the industry when he came from India, to becoming one of the leading experts in the country is a fascinating one. He had to learn everything he could about the industry while also learning what makes a successful business thrive.
He took those lessons to heart, and will be sharing those experiences with attendees at NEFA's Management Conference this November.
As one of the founders of BeCreative 360, a marketing company specializing in Drycleaning and Social Media platforms, he brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the program. This is a unique opportunity to learn directly from a drycleaner about what has worked and what has proved to be the most beneficial.
About Bobby Patel
Bobby Patel is well known in the dry cleaning industry as the owner of Kona Cleaners, a premier brand in California. It's no secret that he's one of the most respected figures in the business.
Bobby Patel was born in India before emigrating to the United States during his formative years. He has possessed an enthusiasm for business and problem solving since he was very young. Pursuing those interests, Bobby graduated from California State University in Long Beach with a degree in Engineering. In 1995 he purchased Kona Cleaners, a dry cleaning business based in California. Since then, Bobby has grown Kona Cleaners exponentially. They now claim 14 different locations throughout Southern California.
Bobby Patel founded BeCreative360 with Dave Troemel and Bryon Eser in 2013 and currently serves as Marketing Director. His knack for logical thinking and his top-notch people skills make him a tremendous asset to the Be360 team. In his free time, Bobby enjoys playing basketball, savoring delicious Thai food, and being with his family.

Fall Fest Room Reservations Now Open: The AC Hotel

NEFA has selected the AC Hotel in Worcester, MA as the new Fall Fest Headquarters. The AC Hotel is located at 125 Front St and is a brand new, European designed hotel built in 2018.
The facilities are well designed, the event space is perfect for our needs, and the location is in the heart of NEFA. Easily accessible for everyone. The entire downtown area has been renovated. There are some chic nightspots and unique dining opportunities. Everything from craft brew pubs to comedy clubs to high-end steak houses.
