Bobcat E-Envelope

November 10, 2022

Hi SPS Families,

I hope everyone is having a good week and we have been lucky with our warm weather for the past few days!

Tomorrow is Veterans Day and it is a red, white, and blue out-of-uniform day for our students and staff. We are beyond grateful to all who served and continue to serve our country! Please feel free to join us at the 8:30 mass tomorrow, as we honor our veterans!

The first trimester ends tomorrow. Teachers will be working over the weekend and into next week to finalize grades. Report cards will go home with the students next Friday.

We sent home a parent/teacher conference letter last Tuesday, explaining the format and changes for this day and night. If the letter did not make it home to you, please click here to read

As always, if you need anything, please do not hesitate to reach out to me.

Thanks!

School Calendar

Dear Parishioners,

On this Friday, Veteran’s Day, November 11th, we pause to remember all those who served our country in wars long ago and today. Of course, we remember those who gave the ultimate sacrifice, giving their lives for our freedom. Many still have the wounds of their service, physically and/or psychologically. Now, more than ever, we are aware of Post Traumatic Stress  Disorder (PTSD), which lasts for many years even with support from family and professionals.

As we gather as one family, we pray that Jesus blesses us with His healing presence; and, for those who suffer from their time in service to our country, we pray for the grace to regain a degree of continuity...
