Bobcat E-Envelope

May 4, 2023

Hi SPS Families,

On behalf of the faculty and staff of St. Patricia, we cannot thank you all enough for the generous donations, gifts, cards, etc. for Teacher/Staff Appreciation Week! It's been a great week for everyone and we are so blessed with a great community!

All of our school families are invited to attend our May Crowning prayer service next Thursday, May 11th, at 6:30 in the church. Our 8th grade class will be leading us in praying the rosary during the service so please bring a rosary with you. We will also have rosaries for you in the church, if needed. Our First Communicants will be involved with a special procession as well during the service and will receive a blessed scapular during the service as well.

Field Day is next Friday during the day for the kids! More information will be coming out soon with schedules, times, etc. Thanks to all of our volunteers who are in the process of making this day a fun day for everyone!

As always, if you have any questions or need anything, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Thanks!

Dear Parishioners,

Darkness has a way of scaring us. Little ones need a night light and even many adults keep a hall lamp on through the night.

Jesus has truly risen. The aim of the post-resurrection appearances of Jesus is to bring peace into an environment of fear and consternation. After the death of Jesus on the cross, the disciples were in spiritual darkness. They are confused, terrified and filled with doubt. His first words to them are “Peace be with you.”

Spring is here and it's time to spruce up outdoors! SPS is in need of plants to beautify our campus. We have big blue flower pots, outside our school, that need to be filled with beautiful flowers. We need plants that will tolerate full sun exposure.

Please drop off your donations outside the school office by May 12th. A great idea is to purchase flats of flowers from the Spring Flower Sale and then donate them for planting! Click here to place your order

On Saturday, May 13th at 9:00 am, the Garden Club will be planting flowers. If you are in need of volunteer hours or just want to help, please come out and help us plant. Students are always welcome to accompany their parents! We look forward to seeing you there!
