Transcript Requests

For transcripts to be mailed before winter break, requests must be submitted no later than noon, Dec. 29. In addition, COCC does not process transcript requests during the first week of the term, Jan. 5-9.

In partnership with the Friday Learning Community, Madras Campus, Clothing Connection, Social Science and several student clubs (ED Club and COPE), 
we are excited to share that the Green Snowflake tradition continues this year.


What is the Green Snowflake?


The Green Snowflake is an annual effort that provides COCC students with access to new and gently used toys, books, games, puzzles, art supplies and other materials for children. The goal is to support students as they prepare holiday gifts for the children in their lives.


Students are welcome to stop in during regular building hours and browse for items free of charge, while supplies last. All items are available at no cost to COCC students.

COCC and OSU-Cascades go head to head in an exciting volleyball and basketball competition where energy runs high and one team takes home the trophy until the rematch next year.

Scholarship Opportunity

College transfer students and adult learners from Oregon are invited to attend a virtual live information session to learn about the Ford Transfer Scholars and Ford Opportunity Scholars Program.


What to expect:



  • Hear from current and recent Ford Family Scholars who will share about their pathways to college and how they overcame financial barriers.
  • Application tips directly from the Ford Family Scholarship Office.
  • Q&A with the team.

COCC Dental Clinic

Are you in need of a filling, extraction, dental cleaning or x-rays?


COCC's Dental Clinic offers affordable care for low-income individuals in Central Oregon. Volunteer dentists work alongside COCC Dental Assisting students to deliver essential services.


To get started, call the Deschutes County Health Department at 541-322-7400 and ask to be added to the dental list. A COCC dental staff member will call you to schedule an appointment.


Clinics are held twice a month on Fridays from Oct. to June. There is no charge for dental services, but a supply fee of $20 is collected at the time of your appointment.

Winter Term Changes


Beginning this winter term, Mazama will introduce a new check-in process for all facility users.


To access Mazama:


  • Students: $20 per term (student taking an HHPA class already pay this as part of their class fee, so you just need to show your sticker on your ID card)


Memberships can be purchased at the Boyle Education Center.


Our fitness staff will be checking for membership passes or student IDs at the entrance. Please have yours ready each visit—thank you for helping us keep Mazama running smoothly!

Join the COCC Broadside

Are you a creative COCC student? The Broadside wants you! We need students to write, photograph, edit, illustrate, design, record podcasts, record videos and more. No experience is necessary. We’ll help you develop valuable skills that will help you excel in any field.


Students can register for J 215B for Winter term and may apply for a limited number of paid staff positions. Reporters and photographers earn a $350 monthly stipend. Editors earn a $550 monthly stipend.

COCC announces our 2026 Season for Nonviolence keynote speakers. 

When We Rise: My Life in the Movement with Cleve Jones – Author, 2SLGBTQIA+ Activist


Jan. 20, 6:30 p.m.

Tower Theatre


Drawn from his critically acclaimed memoir, When We Rise, Cleve Jones will share his 50-year personal and political journey to becoming a hero for the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. Beginning with the electrifying atmosphere of 1970s San Francisco, he will take us through the Gay Liberation Movement, his mentorship with the legendary Harvey Milk, the terrifying early years of the AIDS pandemic and his own rise to the forefront of activism as co-founder of the San Francisco AIDS Foundation and AIDS Memorial Quilt. Speaking as both a witness to history and as one who critically shaped it, Jones will chronicle an era that forever changed both the fabric of our nation and the lives of millions of 2SLGBTQIA+ Americans.

A Conversation with Cleve Jones

For 50 years, Cleve Jones has given a voice to the voiceless, organized the struggling and disenfranchised and inspired activists and audiences alike with his life stories of driving history-making change. He was recognized as a Champion of Change by President Obama and portrayed in an Oscar-winning film. Jones works to connect the historic struggles of the past with the most urgent issues of our time: overcoming pandemics, achieving economic justice, protecting the vulnerable and standing up for all forms of human rights.

Everyday Revolution: Building a World of Respect, Dignity and Liberation with Ijeoma Oluo - Author, Speaker, Humanist

Her work on race and gender has been published in the New York Times, the Washington Post and NBC News; and she has been featured on The Daily Show and NPR’s All Things Considered. Named on the TIME 100 Next list and The Root 100, she’s been awarded the Harvard Humanist of the Year Award, the American Humanist Association’s Feminist Humanist Award, Gender Justice League’s Media Justice Award and the Equal Opportunity Institute’s Aubrey Davis Visionary Leadership Award

Did you know that bad links are everywhere in social media including your DM’s and even the ads you see? 


In worst case scenarios, clicking on a bad link could result in identity theft or serious damage to your device.


How do you manage, or check that the ‘free’ thing is actually free? Instantly screen any suspicious URL before you visit by using www.virustotal.com. This free URL scanning tool will give you a quick read out on if the website screens clean (green), or bad (yellow to red) based on the danger level.

Sounds of the Season

Redmond High School Auditorium


The Redmond Community Choir, an ongoing class of Central Oregon Community College’s community education program, will perform “Sounds of the Season” under the direction of Ken Piarulli. Featuring the 27th Street Brass Quintet, the ensemble will perform a wide variety of musical styles and genres, from sacred to secular. Admission is free.
