Our Top Priority
Our community's water supply is the top priority of the City's Utility Services Dept. and follows all regulatory requirements from multiple agencies, including the Environmental Protection Agency and the Florida Dept. of Health.

To continue this stewardship of quality drinking water, the City is making substantial investments to modernize, expand and safely manage the water supply and treatment process through the Innovative Sustainable Infrastructure Program (iSIP). This long-term initiative coordinated with other City departments, uses technology to prioritize and improve critical areas in the City. Learn more about the iSIP initiative on our website.
Learn More About Your Water
The Utility Services Dept. conducts daily collection and monitoring of the City's water system from various locations in the treatment process to ensure that every drop of water delivered to our customers meets or exceeds the strictest regulatory guidelines. A comprehensive summary of these tests is featured in our Water Quality Report, which is published annually by July 1.

Water Conservation
The wet season is here! There is really only one irrigation rule of thumb in the wet season...
turn it off when it rains!

A healthy landscape only needs 1" to 1.5" of water per week during summer growing season and only as needed to supplement rainfall.

Remember...
Please continue to comply with the City's year-round water restrictions. The mandatory restrictions specify the time, day and amount for residential and non-residential locations.

  • Water use:
  • between the hours of 4pm and 10am (not more than 4 hrs. on property less than 5 acres)
  • Saturday through Thursday
  • limited to 3 days a week as follows:

  • Properties with even-numbered addresses
  • address ends in 0, 2, 4, 6 or 8, or the letters A through M for properties with no street address
  • irrigate on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday only

  • Properties with odd-numbered addresses
  • addresses ends in 1, 3, 5, 7 or 9, or the letters N through Z.
