Employment

Palm Beach County’s unemployment rate, as reported on
December 16, 2022, dropped to 2.6 percent, below the year-ago rate of 3.1 percent.
PBC's rate is below the 3.4 percent national rate.
The County's rate has remained below the nation's for more than two years.
For more than a year, there are more job openings than unemployed people in Palm Beach County.
