Rod designed and fabricated the steering mount cover / oil pressure gauge panel and started on the new side panels for the Mustang chassis. Jill has been helping Rod as needed, and started reorganizing the shop for the final assembly stage.
The transmissions are overdue, but an early February delivery has been confirmed with the manufacturer. Upon arrival, they'll be mounted and the input shaft length measurements will be taken. This will mark the final step in the Mustang's chassis mock up phase. Next, the stang will be completely disassembled for Rod to finish weld the tacked-in-place brackets, mounts and remaining upgrades.
Rod and Denny teamed up to change the milling machine speed adjustment belt and bearing, before Denny started making chips again!
"This past weekend, Jill and I delivered the Mustang body to the auto body shop. Special thanks to Official Supplier Ivan Mejias and USA Auto Supply - Philadelphia , for our auto body and paint materials." ~Rod
"It's currently 20 below zero (with wind chill.) So, we're happy we made the decision to take advantage of the warm 40 degree winter day, to install the brushed stainless steel rear trailer door panels. Thanks to Denny, Parker and Bill for their assistance." ~Jill
