Boe's journey is a testament to what your support makes possible. This little pup swallowed something he couldn't digest or pass, leading to a GI obstruction. In pain, straining to poop, and unable to keep kibble down, his life was in grave danger. Without any place to turn, Boe arrived at WCHS with his owner's only holiday wish -- for him to be saved.
Our team quickly stepped in, performing a four-hour surgery to remove the obstruction and give him a "new leash" on life.
Boe recovered within days, quickly returning to his playful self. However, he now has a list of banned toys and treats: tennis balls, rawhide, socks, plush toys, plastic toys, bones, and more.
