JOIN THE BOEING CLASSIC AND THE FIRST TEE AT THE FORE THE FUTURE GALA
Local legends Fred Couples, Steve Ballmer and Paige McKenzie will join forces to raise funds for local golfers
The Boeing Classic is proud to support a unique affair being held in  conjunction  with the 2015 U.S Open, which will be held in the Pacific Northwest for the first time in the event's 115-year history. The Fore the Future Gala will take place at the Seattle Sheraton on Saturday, June 20th - the evening before the final round of the U.S. Open - and featured guests include local legends Fred Couples, Steve Ballmer, and Paige McKenzie.

This is a one-time opportunity for our region to celebrate the best that golf has to offer while at the same time supporting the youth of our community who have much to gain by learning the game. All funds raised at the event will benefit 80,000 youth in the Puget Sound region participating in The First Tee chapters of Greater Seattle and South Puget Sound, where kids learn life skills, core values and healthy habits through the game of golf.

Sponsorship packages are available which include a table at the gala, spots in a golf event at Chambers Bay, and invitations to an intimate reception with the keynote speakers.

Inquiries may be directed to Shelby Lanting at The First Tee of Greater Seattle at [email protected]

CHAMPIONS TOUR RETURNS TO TUCSON
FOR INAUGURAL CONQUISTADORES CLASSIC

Omni Tucson National's Catalina Course will host the Champions Tour's Tucson Conquistadores Classic this week. Kirk Triplett, now a four-time winner on the Champions Tour, was the most recent player to don the iconic helmet trophy when he won the last PGA TOUR Tucson Open in 2006.

Other past winners who currently compete on the Champions Tour include Jim Carter (2000), Jeff Sluman (1997), Larry Mize (1993), Lee Janzen (1992), David Frost (1988), Mike Reid (1987), Jim Thorpe (1986, '85), Tom Watson (1984, '78), Gil Morgan (1983) and Craig Stadler (1982).

Sweden's Jesper Parnevik, a five-time winner on the PGA TOUR who turned 50 on March 7, will make his first start as a member of the Champions Tour this week in Tucson. Parnevik won his first PGA TOUR title at the 1998 Phoenix Open. His youngest son Phoenix is named for the site of his first victory. On the PGA TOUR, Parnevik played in Tucson three times from 1994-96 and his best finish was a T21 in 1996.

Fred Couples and Tom Watson will tee it up in Tucson in their second Champions Tour starts of the season. Couples was third at the season-opening Mitsubishi Electric Championship at Hualalai while Watson finished at T21. 2013 Charles Schwab Cup champion Kenny Perry will also make his second Champions Tour start of the year after finishing T13 in Hualalai.
WITH ONLY LIMITED OPPORTUNITIES REMAINING, VOLUNTEER WAIT LIST LAUNCHED
Register before April 1st to take advantage of the
Early Bird discount

Because of the overwhelming interest in the volunteer experience at the Boeing Classic, many of our tournament committees have already been filled... and we're still five months from the start of the event! As a result of this tremendous success, we are currently accepting applications to be placed on a Volunteer Wait List, which will provide an opportunity to be added to certain committees if needs arise as we get closer to Tournament Week.

All applicants will have the opportunity to select committee and shift preferences during the registration process, but will not be charged the registration fee unless assigned to a committee. It is important to note that there is no guarantee that Wait List applicants will be placed on a committee. While individuals are on the Wait List, they will receive event updates and other information to stay current on all tournament activities.

We are so thankful for the hundreds of dedicated individuals who have already chosen to support us and we hope that more of you will sign on to play an integral role in staging the region's premier golf event, experience the camaraderie of working alongside a terrific team, and showcase the passion and generosity of this community.

For those who want to join one of the open committees, make sure to do so before April 1st to take advantage of the Early Bird discount! For more information on the Boeing Classic volunteer experience and to sign up for an open committee or the Wait List, follow the link below to be directed to the volunteer page on BoeingClassic.com.
