The Build Has Begun!

It's that time of the year again! The build officially began on Monday at TPC Snoqualmie Ridge for the 2015 Boeing Classic! Our Operations Team is hard at work transforming the course in order to give our spectators the best experience possible with areas such as the Fan Zone, ANA Dreamliner Lounge, Alaska Airlines Canyon Club, Beer Garden, Skybox Suites, 19th Hole, spectator viewing and more!

The Alaska Airlines Canyon Club, which provides one of the most exciting vantage points at the Boeing Classic, is currently in progress. The Alaska Airlines Canyon Club is home to Birdies for Beer where you can get half-off beers for every birdie a Pro makes...and that's not the only perk! As the title sponsor of  the Canyon Club, Alaska Airlines is providing all Alaska Airlines Visa Signature® cardholders with free admission plus one guest or immediate family at no charge. Seating is limited, so make sure you visit BoeingClassic.com to purchase your passes today!

Mark O'Meara Inducted to the World Golf Hall of Fame!
Congratulations Mark O'Meara!
The annual World Golf Hall of Fame induction ceremony was held at St. Andrews on Monday and honored O'Meara for his outstanding career. O'Meara has been a solid competitor in the past at the Boeing Classic and we can't wait to welcome him once again and watch him take on the course at the 2015 Boeing Classic!

Zach Johnson Wins 2015 British Open Championship

Last week Zach Johnson made the 144th Open Championship his second major championship and the 12th win of his career after fending off Marc Leishman and Louis Oosthuizen in a four-hole playoff. The players endured drastic weather conditions from rain that flooded the course on Friday to winds gusting to 45 mph on Saturday.

Leishman missed a crucial shot on the 18th hole that would have given him the victory, while Johnson and Oosthuizen were able to roll in birdies to lead to a playoff which was forced to sudden death. Johnson prevailed and was nearly speechless after his victory.

"I'm grateful. I'm humbled. I'm honored," Johnson said. "This is the birthplace of the game, and that jug means so much in sports. I felt great. I'm just in awe right now."

This Week: 2015 Senior British Open Championship

Coming up next is The Senior Open Championship. Bernhard Langer is the defending champion  after his all-time record 13-stroke win over Colin Montgomerie last year. He will have to fend off Jeff Maggert, who has two major titles this year and will attempt to become the first player to win three major titles in a season since 1991, Tom Watson who is the only player to make the cut in all twelve championships and has won three times and holds the most top 10 finishes , Kevin Sutherland, as well as Montgomerie who continues to lead the Charles Schwab Cup.

All four rounds can be seen on ESPN2 July 23-26. Visit EuropeanTour.com for Tee Times and to follow all the action on their Leaderboard!

Social Media Spotlight: Throwback Thursday
#TBT to last year's annual Seahawks Closest-to-the-Pin Competition, held at VMAC. In the end it was former Microsoft CEO and current LA Clippers owner Steve Ballmer with the victory. He was able to hold off local legend and World Golf Hall of Famer Fred Couples as well as Seattle Seahawks players Steven Hauschka, Cooper Helfet, and Jermaine Kearse.

The annual event held during Boeing Classic Tournament Week has become a day that Seahawks players and Champions Tour players alike look forward to every year.

Looking forward to bringing out the floating green again this year and seeing who can claim the title!
