Boise School Board Appoints New Trustee
Boise, ID -- 11/19/2021 -- During a Special Board meeting held on November 19, 2021, members of the Boise School Board appointed a new trustee to fill a vacancy on the Board.
The Board followed a public process in selecting Steve Schmidt. The Board of Trustees voted in favor of selecting Mr. Schmidt from among three finalists.
Mr. Schmidt will be sworn into office at the regular monthly Board Meeting scheduled to be held on December 13, 2021. Mr. Schmidt will serve until the next regular election of the Board of Trustees on Tuesday, September 6, 2022, when he will have the option to run for the unexpired term of the office, which runs until September of 2024.
