Administrative Appointments
Boise, ID -- 06/25/2021 -- Boise School District announces the following administrative appointments, effective the start of the 2021-2022 school year.
Rich Clements - Assistant Principal, Capital High School

Rich Clements is an education professional who has served students for 30 years. During this time, he has served as Principal at Les Bois Junior High School (2015 to present) and Assistant Principal at Borah High School (2013-2015). As a classroom instructor, Mr. Clements taught Timberline High School students a variety of subjects, including Japanese, Psychology, Sociology and American Government (1998-2013).  
 
He also served as Timberline's Foreign Language Department Chair from 2001 to 2007 and helped compose curriculum for Japanese I, II and II.  From 1995 to 1998, Mr. Clements taught students at Bonneville High School (Idaho Falls, ID) in U.S. History and World History and also developed Japanese curriculum and Psychology curriculum.   From 1991 to 1995, Rich taught Social Studies at Raft River High School (Malta, ID). In addition to teaching, he has coached basketball, football, softball and served as an assistant athletic director.  
 
He is committed to open communication with parents, staff, students and the entire school community. He is focused on offering excellent educational opportunities to each student so they may succeed in life, including in college and in career and in citizenship.  
 
Mr. Clements earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Secondary Education from Brigham Young University in 1991 and a Master of Education Degree in Educational Administration from the University of Idaho in 2013.
Chad Wright, Principal, Les Bois Junior High School

Chad Wright has served students as a public school educator in Idaho for 22 years. During that time, he has served as the Assistant Principal at Capital High School (2019 to present) and as an Assistant Principal at Les Bois Jr. High School and Fairmont Jr. High School.  Mr. Wright also worked as a Principal (Boise District Summer School - Alternative Junior High School), Assistant Principal (Boise District Summer School Program - Alternative High School), Physical Education Teacher (Fairmont, Lowell Scott), Athletic Administrator (Fairmont), and secondary Coach (Football, Volleyball, Track and Wrestling - Fairmont, Meridian High and Lowell Scott).

Principal Wright is an enthusiastic supporter and leader of the District's Vision of preparing students for post-secondary success, whether it be in college, career or citizenship. He is well trained in a wide variety of District supported professional development initiatives that are leading to success and improvements in Boise's classrooms.  He has served on the District's Curriculum Writing Committee for Physical Education, Safety and Security Team and AVID Site Teams.  
  
Mr. Wright believes each and every child can and will learn and he is committed to providing  the finest educational program to each student.  He is a knowledgeable, hard working and professional educator who is dedicated to academic rigor and high expectations for all students. He believes in establishing a positive school climate by developing open communication between students, parents and the entire school community.
  
Principal Wright  earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Education from Boise State University and a Master of Arts Degree in Educational Leadership from Boise State University.
