Sean Sup - Assistant Principal, Amity & Shadow Hills Elementary Schools
Sean Sup has served students in the Boise School District for the last eleven years. During that time, he has worked as:
- English Language Arts & AVID Elective Teacher, Hillside Junior High School, 2012 to present
- Alternative Jr. High Summer School, Assistant Principal, Boise School District, 2023
In addition, Mr. Sup has leadership experience as an AVID Coordinator (2016-2023); Instructional Lead (2021-2023); and Administrative Designee (2022 to present). In these roles, he has led teams in the planning, implementation and refinement of school goals; the development and revision of curriculum; and in the use of the best practices for classroom instruction.
Mr. Sup is an instructional leader. His decision making is grounded in the District’s core belief that all students can and will learn when provided the adequate resources, support and guidance to do so. Mr. Sup attended K-12 in the Boise School District and now has a strong desire to give back to his community. He is dedicated to seeing that each and every student has those same opportunities that he was awarded in his youth.
Mr. Sup earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree in English Literature at the University of Idaho; Secondary Teaching Certificate from Boise State University; Master Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Boise State University; and Master Degree in Educational Leadership from Boise State University.
