Hannah Courtright – Principal, White Pine Elementary School
Hannah Courtright has served the Boise School District with dedication since 2007. She currently serves as Principal of Washington Elementary School, a position she has held since 2019. In this role, she has led with a deep commitment to student-centered learning, cultivating a positive and inclusive school culture, and ensuring that each and every student is supported with the resources they need to thrive.
Ms. Courtright is a collaborative and visionary educational leader who models and upholds the Boise School District’s core values of Respect, Dignity, Honesty, Responsibility, and Teamwork. Her leadership consistently reflects the District’s mission to prepare every student for success in college, career, and citizenship.
Since beginning her career in the Boise School District, Ms. Courtright has supported students as a Social Studies Teacher at Capital and Timberline High Schools (Summer School, 2007–2010), at Riverglen Junior High School (2007–2016), as an Assistant Principal at North Junior High School (2016–2019), and as a Summer School Assistant Principal at Frank Church High School (2015).
While at Riverglen, she was an active member of the Leadership Team, the AVID Site Team, and served as the Cheerleading Coach, contributing both inside and outside the classroom to build a strong school community. She currently serves on the District’s 504 Committee, where she helps guide equitable support for students with disabilities.
Her wide-ranging experience and student-centered approach have made her a trusted and effective leader.
Ms. Courtright earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science/Social Science Secondary Education with a Minor in Spanish from Boise State University and a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Idaho.
