Administrative Appointments
Boise, ID -- 05/14/2020 -- Boise School District is pleased to announce the following administrative appointments, effective the beginning of the 2020-21 school year. 
Carly Deeds - Assistant Principal White Pine/Whittier Elementary Schools

Carly Deeds is an eight year veteran of education. During that time, she has served as a kindergarten teacher (Grace Jordan/Morley Nelson, 2012-2016), 3rd Grade Teacher (Grace Jordan, 2016-2018), and 6th Grade Teacher (Grace Jordan, 2018 to present). She’s also served as administrative designee for two years, technology building lead and curriculum building lead for three years, and team member for positive behavior intervention support. She reorganized Grace Jordan Elementary School’s Problem Solving Intervention procedures and referral process.

Ms. Deeds is a highly motivated, strategic thinker with experience in differentiated lesson design and instruction. She is focused on educational growth with a commitment to providing a first class experience to students, families and team members. She has been actively involved in student/family engagement (Girls with Grace Running Club, Everyday Leaders and Partnership Action Team - all programs that provide constructive learning and enrichment opportunities for students). She is dedicated to providing feedback to students, parents and administration regarding student progress, expectations and goals and supports the District’s Vision of preparing students for success in college, career and citizenship.

Ms. Deeds earned her Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Boise State University, and Master of Educational Leadership, Principal Endorsement (K-12) from Boise State University. 
Nancy Gersack - Assistant Principal Frank Church High School/BASE (Boise Alternative to Suspension and Expulsion)

Nancy Gersack has worked as a teacher and leader in education since 2008. She has been an employee of the Boise School District since 2013, serving as the Excel teacher and administrative designee at Mountain View Elementary School. She currently serves students as the 9th grade special education resource teacher at Fairmont Junior High School. In addition, Ms. Gersak has served as a Lead Special Education Teacher at Audeo Charter School, San Diego, CA. 2008-2013 and she has worked as Alternative Junior High principal (Summer 2019 and 2020, Boise School District).

Ms. Gersack has experience in successfully working with students, parents and staff to support student behavior management, as well as Individualized Education Plan administration. She is committed to seeing that students grow, teachers continually develop professionally and parents/guardians see positive results.

She earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Communication, Writing Minor from the University of Idaho, a Master of Education in Curriculum & Instruction/Elementary Education Credential from the University of Idaho, a Special Education Credential from Point Loma Nazarene University, San Diego, CA, and an Educational Specialist Degree, Education Administration, from the University of Idaho. 
Sean Kelly - Assistant Principal, Dennis Technical Education Center
 
Mr. Kelly has served the children of the Boise School District since 1998. During that time, he has worked 12 years teaching science, 6 years as a Peer Assistant, one year serving as Career Technical Education Program Liaison at the Dennis Technical Education Center, and three years serving as Career Development Advisor/Industry Liaison, Dennis Technical Education Center (2017 to present).
 
Mr. Kelly is dedicated to preparing each student for success in college, career and citizenship. He is a positive, collaborative and approachable education leader whose first commitment is to the students and staff members of the Boise District. He works well to ensure that students have every opportunity to succeed both in school and in life.  
 
Mr. Kelly earned an Associate of Science Degree from Blue Mountain Community College (Pendleton, OR), a Bachelor of Science Degree in Athletic Training from Boise State University, a Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction, and an Educational Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Idaho. Sean also holds an Idaho State Administrator endorsement in Professional Technical Education and an Advanced Occupational Specialist certification in Photography.
Jeff Lamping - Assistant Principal, Timberline High School 
 
Jeff Lamping is a 21 year veteran of education. In his career in the Boise School District, he has served students as a Principal/Assistant Principal of Summer School Programs (2013-2020) and he has worked as Principal/Assistant Principal of Boise Evening School (2013-2020), Special Education Teacher, and Assistant Principal at Frank Church High School in charge of BASE - Boise Alternative to Suspension and Expulsion.

Mr. Lamping is a strong educational leader, possessing clear instructional vision and is able to work collaboratively with students, staff and community. He is committed to establishing a positive educational environment using best practice research-based techniques for all learners. He is dedicated to guiding and supporting education professionals throughout the school building. Mr. Lamping is committed to the District’s Vision of preparing each student for success in college, career and in life. 

Mr. Lamping earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Special Education from University of Nevada Las Vegas, Masters Degree in Education from Grand Canyon University and a Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Idaho. 
Chelsie Wilson - Assistant Principal, Borah High School
 
Chelsie Wilson has served secondary students in the Boise School District for more than 15 years, most recently as Assistant Principal at the Dennis Technical Education Center (DTEC) (2017 to present).  
 
In addition, she served as the Career Development Advisor/Industry Liaison, DTEC, (2013-17) and as an Administrative Intern at Borah High School, Hillside Junior High School, and DTEC (2016-17). For many years, she served on the DTEC Advisory Board, Business Educator Exchange Committee, SkillsUSA National Technical Committees, and SkillsUSA Idaho Board of Directors. Ms. Wilson also served as a SkillsUSA Advisor, mentoring students in leadership skills development. 
 
Ms. Wilson knows the importance and value of providing students with rigorous coursework that challenges them and prepares them for a successful future. She is a respected educator who has experience in providing diverse groups of students the opportunity to learn with a whole child approach. She has experience in working collaboratively with staff, parents, and students to support student achievement and success. 
 
Ms. Wilson's educational background includes an Associate of Applied Science in Auto Body Technology from the College of Southern Idaho, a Bachelor of Applied Science with emphasis in Communication and Gender Studies from Boise State University, a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Career and Technical Education from the University of Idaho, and an Education Specialist in Educational Leadership from the University of Idaho. Ms. Wilson is also a graduate of the Idaho Career and Technical Education Leadership Institute as well as the Idaho Association of School Administrators Project Leadership Academy.
