Diana Molino, IT Data Systems Manager, Boise School District
We are pleased to announce that Diana Molino has been appointed to serve as the IT Data Systems Manager for the Boise School District, effective with the start of the 2025-2026 school year. This is not a new position, but a modified and updated version of one that has long existed within the Technology Department to support the District’s data systems and business intelligence operations. The new version of this position will be better positioned to support students and staff.
The IT Data Systems Manager plays a vital role in ensuring the timely, secure, and accurate collection and reporting of data used to inform decisions that directly impact students. By overseeing the work of the Data Systems Team, this position helps ensure that teachers, school leaders, and District staff have the reliable information they need to monitor progress, identify needs, and implement strategies that support every student’s academic and social-emotional growth. The systems overseen in this role support everything from class scheduling, HR and business systems, and assessment coordination to state and federal reporting and data security—services that are foundational to the day-to-day learning experience of our students.
In this role, Diana will also work alongside the Assessment and Achievement Supervisor to train school staff in using data to improve educational outcomes and school operations. By building staff capacity to analyze and apply data effectively, she will help ensure our schools are empowered to make informed, student-centered decisions that strengthen instructional practices, improve efficiency, and ultimately support student success.
Diana brings to this position more than two decades of experience in education and leadership. Most recently, she has served as Principal of Timberline High School (2020 to present), where she has led with a focus on equitable access, evidence-driven school improvement planning, and a deep commitment to student achievement. Her previous roles include Assistant Principal at Timberline (2019-2020), Principal of Nampa High School (2016-2019), and school administrative leadership positions in Idaho Falls (2008-2016) and at White Pine Charter School, Ammon, ID (2004-2008).
Throughout her career, Diana has worked to align systems, people, and data in ways that lead to better outcomes for students. Her strategic mindset, deep understanding of instructional needs, and demonstrated skill in using data to inform practice will ensure that the District’s data infrastructure continues to serve as a powerful tool to improve services and support student success.
Diana holds an Ed.S. in Executive Educational Leadership, a Master’s in Educational Leadership, and a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. She also recently earned a Graduate Certificate in Conflict Management and is an active member of several professional organizations, including the Idaho Association of School Administrators (IASA) and the American Evaluation Association.
Please join us in congratulating Diana Molino on her new role and thanking her for her continued dedication to the Boise School District community.
