Community Support Makes School Improvements Possible
Thanks to voters' passage of the 2017 Boise School District bond election, students at Valley View and Washington elementary schools began the 2021-2022 school year with new state-of-the-art educational facilities. The new Valley View Elementary School, located in west Boise, was built on the same site as the original school and the newly renovated Washington Elementary School, located in Boise's north end, includes a new addition to the existing historic elementary school building. The new school improvements are made possible thanks to the support of patrons who passed a facilities bond election in 2017 by 86% yes vote. Thank you, voters!

The newly renovated Washington Elementary School includes a new 14,020 square foot addition that ties into the existing historic elementary school building and provides new play areas for students.
