Revised COVID-19 Quarantine Guidelines
With the release of new information from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC) and Central District Health (CDH), Boise School District has adopted revised COVID-19 quarantine guidelines.

Students Advance to National MATHCOUNTS Competition
|
|
Since February, students from around the U.S. in grades 6, 7 & 8 have competed in the MATHCOUNTS Competition. Boise School District is proud to announce that three of the top four students in Idaho advancing to Nationals are from the Boise School District! From May 8-10, 2021 the following outstanding Boise School District students will compete among 224 students from around the U.S.

Students Earn Top Awards in Stamp Competition
|
|
Three students from North Junior High School have earned the top spots in the Idaho Junior Duck Stamp Competition. Taelyn Baiza, 14, was named the winner of the 2021 Idaho Junior Duck Stamp Competition for her colored pencil drawing of a male northern shoveler. The original art piece will travel to Washington, D.C. for the National Junior Duck Stamp Competition. Siena Axtman, 14, North Junior High School, earned 2nd Place for Best of Show for her colored pencil drawing of a wood duck and Uma Terpend, 14, earned 3rd Place for Best of Show for her marker artwork of a mallard.

Freshman Named Gatorade Athlete of the Year
|

Sammy Smith, 9th grade, North Junior High School, who runs track and cross country for Boise High School, has been named the 2020-21 Gatorade Cross Country Female Athlete of the Year for the state of Idaho.

Accepting Applications: Treasure Valley Math & Science Center
Boise School District’s nationally-recognized Treasure Valley Mathematics & Science Center is currently accepting applications for the 2021-2022 school year. TVMSC is a unique learning community offering a seamless, integrated progression of challenging mathematics, science, research and technology courses for high potential students in multi-age cohorts from 7th through 12th grades.
