Winter Weather Procedures
Education is important and every missed day of school represents lost learning opportunities. However, Boise School District’s primary concern is for the safety of all students, including students riding busses and walking or biking to school. If students cannot safely travel to school or if schools are not able to operate safely because of citywide dangerous weather conditions, school may be cancelled. Watch the following video to learn more about Boise School District's Inclement Weather Procedures.

Gifts. Passions. Dreams. Possibilities.
WE SEE IT, TOO.
Boise School District's Everything's Possible movement shares the dreams, aspirations and experiences of our students and teachers. As a parent, you see your child’s potential. And we see it, too. Everything’s possible.

"If I could teach my students one thing, it would be compassion. I feel that when students feel valued and validated they are more willing to step out and take risks and step up to the challenges that are set before them." - Ms. Holly, a 2nd grade teacher at Pierce Park Elementary
"I want to be a police officer when I grow up because I think that it would be fun to patrol the area and save people's lives. And I also think that it would be fun to have a police dog to help me with my work." - Jasper, a 4th grader at Liberty Elementary.
"The Boise School District sets students up to be successful by providing them with core knowledge in all of the areas of education. And beyond that, we provide them with opportunities to discover their interests. We have programs for music and art, construction and plumbing, and more. We have so many options for students that we meet them where they're at, and we develop them forward from there." - Elizabeth Langley, a trustee for the Boise School District
