Boise School District Trustee Election to be Held Tuesday, September 4th, 2018
Boise, ID -- (8/21/2018) -- Boise School District will hold a Board of Trustees Election on Tuesday, September 4th, 2018. Three board members will be elected to serve six year terms. Six candidates have filed to run. Trustee candidates run district-wide and the three candidates with the most votes are elected. 

Qualifications for candidates include: must be 18 years of age and a resident taxpayer within the Boundaries of the Boise School District; must take an oath of office to faithfully perform the duties of his office according to law; and have no pecuniary interest, either directly or indirectly, in any contract with the District.

To vote in the trustee election, voters must be 18 years of age, have lived in the District for 30 days and be registered to vote in Ada County. 

In-person early voting is now available from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday - Friday at the District Service Center, 8169 W Victory Rd, Boise, Idaho 83709. Early voting runs through 5:00 p.m., Friday, August 31, 2018.

At 6:00 p.m. on August 27, 2018, the Boise Public Schools Education Foundation will hold a forum to introduce the candidates in the Boardroom of the Boise School District’s Service Center.
