Winter Break COVID-19 Resources
Given the level of community spread of COVID-19 in Ada County and with the Winter Break nearly upon us, we have information and COVID-19 resources for you and your family.

Winter Break Device Monitoring 
During winter break (12/23 to 01/08), and thereafter, Boise School District will provide parents/guardians with the ability to monitor your student’s activity on their District-assigned digital device via the GoGuardian Parent App: 


Winter Athletics 
With mandatory adherence to strict safety protocols, District winter athletics (basketball, wrestling, dance and cheer) will be held with practices starting December 22. Further information... 

Second Semester Student Schedule/Calendar
  • 12/23/20 - 1/8/21   Winter Break
  • 1/11/21 - 1/15/21   All Students Virtual Learning
  • 1/18/21          Martin Luther King, Jr. Day (no school)
  • 1/19/21          Students Resume Hybrid Learning

2021 High School Graduation Dates
The following graduation dates have been set: 

  • May 24 - Borah
  • May 25 - Capital
  • May 26 - Timberline
  • TBD - Frank Church
  • May 27 - Boise

While we’re not able to predict what health guidelines and safety protocols will be in place this spring (i.e. gathering limitations at ExtraMile Arena), we are committed to recognizing this milestone and will use these dates to celebrate our graduating seniors whether its in-person ceremonies or virtual ceremonies. Further details to be released when available. 

State Board of Education Waves College Entrance Exam Requirement 
The Idaho State Board of Education has waived a requirement that students take a college entrance exam in order to graduate from a public high school in Idaho. The waiver applies to students graduating at the end of the 2020-21 school year, including the summer term. Learn more...
