Together, we can FeedFrisco!
Food For Thought...

Over 4,500 and Counting!
We are nearly half way through our Summer Lunch Program and have already provided 4,566 Lunches and Weekend Snacks Packs since the start of our program, on June 3rd.
A big THANK YOU to our faith-based partners from First Baptist Church Frisco, Frisco Bible Church, Grace Avenue United Methodist Church, Grace Church, Hope Fellowship, Potter’s House of North Texas, Preston Trail Community Church, St. Philip’s Episcopal Church, and Stonebriar Community Church, for their commitment to hosting our Summer Lunch Program for 9 weeks, at 5 different locations.

Your support makes it possible to FeedFrisco!
What's new this summer?

When our community grows, so do we.
To provide more opportunity for the increasing number of FISD students on the free and reduced lunch program at school, to participate in this essential program, we added a new location where the same food and fun will be served daily.
Families going through difficult times in our community take on extra stress during the summer months when their kids require more meals at home. In addition to preventing hunger, this program provides creative, social, physical and educational activities.
25 years calls for... lots and lots of bubbles!
In celebration of Frisco Family Services’ 25th Anniversary, something extra special is taking place on the 25th of each month during this year’s program. You can see it in the faces of all who were present on the 25th of June. It was a joyful day full of bubble-busting fun!
Mark July 20th as a day to make an impACT!

Have an immediate and lasting impACT on our local community this summer at Frisco Family Services Community-wide Food Drive. Help FeedFrisco by ensuring our summer food drive is a success.
Donate critical food pantry items directly to Frisco's only community Food Pantry.

School is out... Caring is in!

Our Back2School Fun Fair is coming up on August 5th! This critical program provides students (grades K-12) with a great start to the new school year with a new backpack, the required school supplies, new clothes and new shoes. To offer additional tools and support to student’s parents and guardians, resources will be on-site as a part of the program, to provide important information and materials about healthcare, job training and more.
School may be out for summer, but your support to help kids get ready for the upcoming school year is needed now.
Mayor's Golf Classic Hits the Mark!
A great day of golf and camaraderie was enjoyed by 132 golfers as they joined Frisco Mayor Jeff Cheney on the course to support our local neighbors in crisis.

Just as many of the players have demonstrated their commitment to Frisco Family Services’ mission for the last 25 years, through additional participation in various raffle drawings, putting and longest drive challenges, their abundance of support resulted in success!

Golfers weren't the only ones CARING on the   green...

Our youngest volunteers have been busy making a difference in our community this summer as they take part in our Lemonade Stand Fundraiser, one of the many volunteer opportunities offered through our Little Hands volunteer program.

Little Hands Volunteer, Micah

A dedicated Little Hand even hosted his Lemonade Stand right on the course at our Mayor's Golf Classic! He provided a moment of refreshment to players in exchange for a donation to Frisco Family Services Back2School Program.

Way to go Little Hands!
Board of Directors Spotlight - Lesley Regalado
We would like to take a moment to recognize a member of our very valuable Board of Directors, Lesley Regalado – currently serving her first year on Frisco Family Services’ Board of Directors. In her professional life, she has always been a “connector” and “matchmaker,” and her passion for helping companies build their desired corporate culture and people build their careers sparked a true passion for the business of talent acquisition and career coaching. One client company, and one candidate at a time, Lesley founded and is CEO of Career Resource Services, a nationwide leader specializing in the search and recruitment of professionals for businesses from start-ups to Fortune 500 companies.

“I want to help those in need because so many people have helped me along the way,” says Lesley, who currently serves as a career mentor at the University of Texas at Dallas and Baylor University, and volunteers at several local elementary and middle schools. She is native to Frisco and combined with her desire to give back, being part of Frisco Family Services' Board of Directors is a perfect fit. With an impressive history of driving change and improvement, she aims to help provide resources to local families going through difficult times.

“Never stop growing and learning; being a life long learner will serve you well,” is the best advice she has ever received. Not only does Lesley follow her own favorite advice, but also teaches it as an Adjunct Professor of Student Success & Sociology at Brookhaven College. As a community advocate with two successful careers, we cannot blame her for sharing that if given more hours in the day, at the top of her agenda would be – rest; and if ever to write a book, the title would be My Crazy Life . In the meantime, we hope time away traveling (her favorite hobby!) with her husband is on the horizon.

We treasure each and every Board member and are so grateful for their time and talents dedicated to ensuring the success of our clients and building a caring community.
Growing and Building Community Together
