Director’s Note

Dear Senior Center Friends,

Our department often works well in advance for some projects. This is even more true right now as I am preparing to get everything in order for my parental leave later this year. The difficulty with “working in the future” while still living in the present is you often forget the actual calendar. So last newsletter I failed to wish you a Happy Mother’s Day! I hope everyone had an enjoyable time however you were able to celebrate the women in your life, or be celebrated!

While we have many positive changes coming along, we have some bittersweet news for the department. Our Van Driver Paul will be leaving at the end of the month. We wish him and his wife Val a VERY Happy Retirement! As much as we will miss him here at the Senior Center, we fully support them following their dreams to their new home. Please join me in sending him Best Wishes!

Stay Safe,

Carrie
