USL League Two is the leader in pre-professional soccer in the U.S. and Canada. The League holds a vital role as it continues to provide the elite platform for those pursuing professional careers domestically and internationally. League Two franchises continue to provide the elite amateur player the opportunity to train and compete at the highest level while maintaining their collegiate eligibility. League Two is more than the leading national pre-professional league. League Two is the defined and proven pathway for players to progress to the ranks of professional soccer, while its clubs become fixtures in the communities where they operate.

Bolts ID Centers

As we head into spring season, we will be posting more schedules for ID Centers. These are conducted to identify players for Academy and ECNL teams. The goal of the Boston Bolts is to create the opportunity for all youth soccer players to receive exceptional training and development, so they may achieve their greatest potential as a player. Through the development of a strong foundation in the game, Boston Bolts players are actively recruited by collegiate, national and professional teams.

This year, Bolts U12 Academy group are participants in the inaugural year of the Revolution Development League (RDL), sanctioned and supported by US Club Soccer, which is structured to promote high-level localized competition, professional training, and game day experience from the leading clubs in our area. The league features 8-10 regionalized games in New England in both the fall and spring seasons, featuring crossover weekend games with other MLS development leagues. The competition will also involve tournament weekends for outside competition.
