The leaves are falling and days are getting shorter but our weather this fall has been fantastic for soccer! The Bolts Columbus Cup was a huge success with 100 teams competing in the Weymouth area. Thanks to Tournament Director Don Whitaker for all his hard work along with a great group of volunteers and congrats to all who participated!!

NEP season is winding down for the younger groups (with some post season play possible for a few teams in the NEP Final four weekend) while older groups are finishing up their high school seasons and getting ready to join the Bolts. ECNL teams will begin preparing for their fall & winter Showcases very soon, while younger ECNL teams host Albertson and East Meadow this weekend Development Academy teams (U15/17/19) are at Mount ida tomorrow v.Beachside, 06 & 07 Academy teams are in NC for the Regional Showcase and 2008s are off this weekend, but preparing for more league games, crossover games in Albany and the Roma Showcase in Sarasota in January.

Bolts players who are seniors in high school continue to share their college commitments with us so watch for an update next week along with an update on our Bolts alums who play in college as they head into the last weeks of their season.

Winter is a busy time at the Bolts, with our teams doing indoor training & futsal, attending tournaments in warm destinations, and the annual club fundraiser 24 Hour Soccer Marathon. This year's event will be held in the Mount Ida Gym on January 31st through February 1st. SAVE THE DATES!

B oston Bolts Academy teams 2006 and 2007 traveled to Winston-Salem, NC to play in the Development Academy East Regional Showcase. The 07s beat Lehigh Valley 3-0 this morning and face PDA, Delco & North Atlantic Soccer. The 2006 team will face Red Bull, PDA, DC United and Baltimore Armour.
Bolts ADP Clinic in North Region
ADP is the Bolts Advanced Development Program and we are holding sessions in Danvers in November and December. This 6-week program will feature Bolts Academy and ECNL coaching staff and top level curriculum in a fast paced environment. For players who are looking for more, this is for you!

Boston Bolts held its 2nd annual Columbus Cup Soccer Tournament on October 12th & 13th. Over 100 teams from throughout the Northeast Region competed at top level turf facilities in Weymouth. After starting the weekend with some weather that did not want to cooperate we ended the weekend with a perfect Fall day. Congratulations to all of our teams on your competitive spirit you showed throughout the weekend..
