News From The Pitch
2004 Central Elite NPL takes IMG U16 Championship in an exhilarating 3 rd  game 4-3 win against a very strong Doral Elite squad from Southern Florida. A three day trip to Bradenton, Florida resulted in a 2-1-0 weekend with 6 goals scored from 4 different players and assists from 5. Despite the loss on Saturday, the head to head win on Sunday secured the win. An excellent job from all the guys during the weekend and a big thank you to the parents for forfeiting their last weekend ahead of Christmas!
The Boston Bolts 04 ECNL team traveled down to the Florida Showcase and came away with three competitive draws. They opened up the event tying CESA 0-0 who finished their fall campaign placing second in the Mid-Atlantic Conference. After battling to another 0-0 draw against Vardar, the goals came in abundance against the Pittsburgh Riverhounds, which ended 3-3. Despite giving up three goals in the final match (a corner and a penalty in a 30 second span, and a counter attack late in the match), the group defended incredibly well in all three matches, dealing with some dynamic forwards throughout. The group finished up the fall portion of the season with their most complete performance going forward, and head into winter training with a lot to look forward to in the spring.
The Bolts 03 ECNL played 3 teams ranging from West Virginia to Illinois. Unfortunately we dropped 3 very close games. We lost 2-1 to Rockford Raptors, 1-0 to McLean, and 2-1 to FC Alliance.  Tade Ominawa and Henning Dierks scored our 2 goals on the weekend. Alec Petit and Luke Van Galen made some very good saves in goal. We had a large amount of college coaches at the games ranging from Georgetown and Notre Dame to Amherst and Hamilton. They guys worked extremely hard and played very well for periods of all three games.

Regional Future Elite Programs
For Boys & Girls ages 4 to 9

The main goal of Boston Bolts is developing youth players. Experts agree that the most impactful soccer development begins before the age of 10. Many kids under 10 don’t receive proper instruction from qualified coaches. For this reason, our Future Elite Programming is dedicated to properly educating and developing very young players.
An age-appropriate learning environment is key in developing our next generation of Bolts athletes. Our professional staff ensures that players learn the proper fundamentals using fun games, drills and activities to ignite a passion for this great game!
All players are welcome and will train in small groups broken up by age and ability so they may learn at their own pace.
These clinics are offered at several locations throughout the area at $75 per session.

Don't forget to setup your fundraising page and send out to your contacts and post on social media.

How do I Set up a Fundraising Page?
It’s quick and easy to set up a fundraising page online using these 5 step-by-step instructions below:
and then click on  GREEN  BUTTON labeled   FUNDRAISE . This will allow you to create your own fundraising page.  If you created a webpage for last year's event, you will need to create a new one this year as this is a different event.
Step 2) Create Your Account  - Complete the name, address, email section and create a password and click the green button labeled NEXT
OR Login to the account you used last year.
Step 3) Join a team  - select the name of your Bolts team or Alumni or Coaches or whichever team you will fundraise for and select NEXT to create a fundraising page to share with others.  You MUST select a team and we cannot change that once you select a team.
Step 4) Create a Page  - Upload a photo or video; tell a story about yourself and the Bolts; enter your fundraising goal; you can make a donation to kickoff your fundraising and click on green button labeled NEXT
Step 5) Congratulations! You've created a fundraising page . Be sure to customize your thank you email, select the link to Ask for Donations, enter your contact list of email addresses, and send it to relatives, friends, co-workers, clients, neighbors, etc. or share it on social media.
We accept credit cards - MC, Visa, Discover, AMEX.

Donors are asked to join a team when they donate so we can post a "Leader Board" for individuals and track fundraising by team.

Collect Matching Gifts  - fundraising pages now include a "Matching Gift" section that allows donors to search the name of their employer. There are over 20,000 companies listed!! If an employer is found, a donor can click on the employer's name to see detailed instructions about matching gift eligibility and the steps required for the charity to receive the matching gift.

We realize that several families have a long drive and we thank you for your commitment. Please check the schedule, for the timeslot for your team and plan to arrive during the designated age group. There are no exceptions allowed in the schedule due to the number of players and teams.
