October is finally here! We are so excited for the fall season ahead and can’t wait to show you what we have in store over the next few months leading into the holidays. New seasons bring lots of NEW for Bomb Party as well! New growth, new exciting system updates, and new products galore!

Into the Vault They Go! 

All remaining inventory for the September Birthday Collection and the Lymphoma Collection for a Cause will be moved into the vault on October 2, at 10 am CT. Keep ordering until then and get them before they’re gone! 

While September Birthday will be vaulted on October 2, we are adjusting to a more regular vault schedule for Birthday Collections. Moving forward, we will vault all birthday collections on the first day of each month following the birthday launch. We’ll continue to announce each dropship or vault plan here in the Bomb Drop Newsletters and often in our Bomb Party Buzz all-field calls. 

New Product Replacement Form 

To decrease ticket response times, we have begun using the Product Replacement Form to process replacements for the most reported damage/defects. This new form will be used for missing stones, damaged items, incorrect sizes, and any damage that can be depicted in a photo. (Please continue to submit tickets for shipping errors, empty bombs, or issues that can only be depicted in video.) 

The Product Replacement Form can be accessed at https://bombparty.formcrafts.com/. This form link can also be found in the Media Library of your Back Office by searching “Replacement,” and also in your support portal, which is found at https://help.bombparty.com. 

Business Updates 

New Back Office  

When it comes to the new Back Office system, no news is good news. We are still progressing well in the code freeze and beta testing phases. In the coming months, we’ll share important information about what will and won’t carry over from the current system as well as training for the new Back Office system. 

One important thing to note is that when we officially transition from our current system to the new system, there will be a blackout period for several hours. During this time, customers will not be able to purchase from your site and you will not be able to order inventory from the Back Office. We are planning on doing that during a time when customer sales are generally slowest (e.g., not a launch week or weekend evening) and potentially during the early morning hours of the night. Exact hours and the date of the transition will be communicated at a later time. But be aware that this will need to happen and that you will want to plan your lives around the transition.

Policies 

We are currently working on a new update to Bomb Party Policies, which will be coming soon. This update is mostly a process of fine tuning, small tweaks, and adjustments to verbiage. It’s subtle and none of the changes will have a large effect on what you do. We will provide you with the new Policies document 30 days before it goes into effect, as we always do. 

Our most recent policy updates—the updates this last spring and the upcoming update—are coming a bit closer together than you might have expected. We are admittedly playing a bit of catch up. Updating policies is a regular part of every direct sales company, and we didn’t share updates for a while previously. From here on out, you might expect to see policy updates more regularly from us. Updates are always made to help things run more smoothly for both Reps and the Home Office and are always made with everyone’s best interest in mind. 

Events

Congrats to all Disney cruise-earners who are out on the boat as we speak! We’re just a little jealous, and a LOT happy for you! 

Puerto Vallarta 2024

Keep working your way toward the 2024 Puerto Vallarta Incentive Trip, which will absolutely be number one for fun and sun! We’ve got just under three months left in the earning period, which ends on December 31, 2023. Don’t forget that any new team members must remit 350 PV in the earning period for you to earn the 1,500 incentive points associated with that new Rep. If you believe you’ll be traveling with us to Puerto Vallarta, we recommend beginning the passport process now. We have recently seen an increase in processing time for passport applications. All earning and trip details can be reviewed in the Puerto Vallarta FAQ located in your Back Office Media Library.

Leadership Conference 2024 

We are drawing closer to registration for our 2024 Leadership Conference event in Atlanta, GA. Leadership is an exciting, in-person, by-invitation-only event for Party Reps who have titled at Ruby and above by October 31. The weekend focuses on leader-level training, with sprinkles of recognition, product reveals, or other surprise and delight aspects. Registration will be open November 13–20. Watch for further details and work NOW to hit a qualifying title so you can attend. We’d love to see you there!

Bomb Party Events Website 

Our former events website, bombpartyevents.com, was taken down yesterday, September 30, as a means to protect BP events information that is meant to be private for Reps only. We may resurrect the site again in the future (possibly with the need for logins); we’ll let you know if we do. All event FAQs are available in the Back Office > Media Library by searching on the name of the event. Information about registration open dates and other details about upcoming events will be communicated as usual in the Bomb Drop Newsletter and Active Rep Facebook group.

on Social Media 

Have you made the time to join us for our epic social media training series? This comprehensive six-week masterclass seminar series is being led by distinguished social media expert, Jenna Warriner, along with the expertise of Lindsay Bennett, BP Field Development Manager. Jenna is helping you create a social media strategy that will propel your business to new heights.

Classes are held at 11:30 am CT, each Monday through October 16. Register here to attend with us on Zoom (replays are available). You only need to register once for the entire seminar series. Be sure to save your confirmation email so you have access to the class link each week. In our two amazing classes so far, Jenna has covered the importance of trying different techniques and post types on social media to see what sticks. She talked about using the content that works best for each platform. We know now that “The algorithm is not against you; she is just a computer.” And she taught us how to “skip the appy and get right to the entrée" by digging straight into the content with each of your short-form videos. Jenna has even more nuggets of wisdom to share with you, so join us in the next class on October 2.

Party Rep Halloween Costume Contest 

We want to see your costumes! Take a cute picture or screenshot of you in a costume whether on a live, at a Halloween party, or elsewhere. Submit your picture to us at [email protected] with “Costume Contest” in the subject line, by 11:59 pm CT on November 1. This contest is for active Party Reps only; please submit your name and Rep ID with your image in the email. We’ll choose three random winners, via a random wheel generator on a live announcement, who will each be awarded $100 in product credit. We’ll share a slideshow of select submissions with you next month!
