A Word from the Executive Director

March has definitely roared in like a lion, and I’m not just referring to the storms and winds! On March 1st we recognized businesses, organizations & individuals who went above and beyond in serving our community in 2024 at our Annual Chamber Awards Banquet. There was no shortage of beads, feathers or fun as we celebrated the milestones that 2024 brought with our “Let the Good Times Roll” theme. But actually, the good times have just begun.

We are humbled and excited as we experience our membership growth and involvement. Announcing our 2025 Board of Directors was an honor. Our attendance at our Tune-In Tuesdays & After-Hours Network continues to attract more and more partners. This month we kick off our Leadership Fannin leadership program. And our calendar is full of upcoming events that are attracting folks from miles around to our hometown.

In like a lion, out like a lamb? I think not!

Let’s keep the excitement going!

Upcoming Events

The time is almost here, and we are working to prepare for the 4th Annual Easter Festival presented by the American Legion Anderson-Roberts Post 283 and the Bonham Area Chamber of Commerce!

Beginning at 10:00am at Powder Creek Park on Saturday April 19th, children & adults are invited to bring their Easter baskets and hunt for over 15,000 eggs. Hunts will be divided into age groups and happen one group at a time, including an adults-only hunt!

Thanks to sponsors Shockley State Farm Insurance and Credit Union of Texas!

This event will feature free fun for the whole family, and we are currently looking for businesses, organizations, and individuals to volunteer to come set up games & activities for festival-goers to enjoy.

We are also seeking sponsors for prizes for the Adults-Only Egg Hunt. Prizes could include gift certificates to your or another local business, cash, lottery tickets, or any number of things!

For more info, contact Kristi@BonhamChamber.com to get involved, to sponsor prizes for the adult eggs, or participate by offering a free game at the event!
