ATTENTION FREELANCERS!
An editor’s letter (emailed by the editor from an official publication email address to Bonnaroo@BigHassle.com) is required for all affiliated freelance photographers and writers. We will not accept ANY applications from freelance photographers or writers who are not officially on assignment for a publication. We will not be accepting applications from filmmakers. Please note that filming is not permitted on festival grounds outside of the press compound without an escort from the media team. Additionally, filming of acoustic sessions is not permitted on festival grounds. If you are affiliated with a band, you must obtain entry and passes through that band's Guest List. We do not provide “Band Photographers” with festival photo passes.

COLLEGE PUBLICATIONS AND ONLINE SITES:
College publications can send writers only. We will not be granting photo passes/photo pit access to college publications.

PHOTOGRAPHER REQUIREMENTS:
Only photographers with SLR, interchangeable lens cameras will be allowed into the photo pits. There will be no 'point and shoot' cameras permitted. All of the above publications will have access to the festival photographers' pictures under the PRESS section at https://www.bonnaroo.com/contact following the festival.

Web-Based publications will only be considered for photo passes/photo pit access if their "Unique Viewers Per Month" exceeds 100,000 and can verify this with Compete.com, Alexa, or some other reputable web traffic tracker.

BAG POLICY
Bonnaroo has implemented a BAG POLICY meant to enhance safety and security and entrance efficiency for all festival attendees. We are allowing professional camera bags to be tagged at credential check-in, but you must let us know in advance that you will be bringing a camera bag on site. A "professional camera bag” is a bag that is used only and specifically for camera use. This can be a backpack, but must be used to store camera gear only.

For media attendees who are bringing in laptops or other equipment, you will need to use a CLEAR BAG. If you are concerned about security, we advise you to wrap your valuables so they can’t be seen. The festival will not be selling bags at the entrance, so you will need to purchase in advance.

Photographers with professional camera bags are the only people exempt from the clear bag policy, but their bag must be tagged and searched in order to enter the festival grounds. If you are a photographer, you must have your professional camera bag tagged at credential pick-up and it will then need to be searched upon entry to the festival. If you are looking to bring a camera bag into the festival grounds, you MUST apply for a bag tag when applying for a PHOTO credential.

Your application will not submit without filling out all required fields. Applications with incomplete or insufficient information will be declined. Please understand that with the amount of requests we receive, it is simply impossible to fill all requests.
