You typically receive an "eblast" from DCCA two times a month but we noted your feedback and utilization of the links in last week's eblast and decided to make our communications weekly to help our neighbors find the local information, resources, and connection points during this rocky time. Keep those hands clean, take the recommended steps to stay healthy, and be kind - we will reach the other side together.
We appreciate any feedback you have -- if there is particular content that you are looking for or want to see more of please share your thoughts. And if you have ideas or programs to keep Dupont neighbors connected, let us know and we will do our best to share.

Local restaurants are still offering
grab & go and delivery options and we want you to support them and the delivery people who are helping people get the food and goods they need. Many establishments have put together special menus that offer a unique dining experience.

While the music is cranked go ahead and dance out some of that built up energy. Pick your favorite song and commit to a 12 noon dance party -- you will be surprised what three minutes of groove can do for your spirits!
Moving and stretching is as important as keeping our mind healthy. Here are some ways to stay active indoors.
Check in with your gym: Many area gyms are finding ways to offer their members online options while gyms are closed.

Last week DCCA member, Robin Diener, suggested creating non vegetative garden of white "marble" stones, chunky mulch, and a big rock feature to discourage and redirect rats who prefer smoother travel surfaces. Hats off to Robin for also providing amazing local examples of how it's done! Try your hand!

Before the rush of visitors and eventual shutdown of the Tidal Basin, DCCA member Phil Carney took in the beauty of the Cherry Blossom bloom across the city.
