Building Resilience: Explorer Training with the RTO
Recently, our Explorers had an exciting training session with Officer Torres, gaining insight into the role of the Recruit Training Office (RTO) at the CHP Academy. The RTO plays a key part in preparing recruits by creating high-stress, high-pressure scenarios designed to build resilience and confidence.
This hands-on practice gave our Explorers the chance to experience the intensity of academy-style training and learn strategies for handling stressful situations, an invaluable skill set for those planning to attend the academy in the future.
