This is my story. My life. My legacy… so far. The Messy Truth is an honest and vulnerable depiction of the long and windy road that brought Drybar to life, how I lost myself along the way, how I learned (on the job) how to run a company (mistakes, wins, failures, and everything in between), and how my personal life got turned upside down and inside out - many times over. 

Entrepreneurship is not for the faint of heart and this book is a glimpse behind the proverbial curtain of what it takes.

I poured my heart into this book and at the eleventh hour, I had to add an ending I didn’t see coming. Because life is never what we think it is. It’s messy and beautiful and full of surprises. 



My hope is that this book inspires you to take that leap, chase your passion, put it all on the line, get your heart broken, have faith, and know you are right where you are supposed to be, just like me.

There’s something beautiful and messy about loaded nachos. There are layers to life and every layer is messy just like loaded nachos. This food resembles my book because no matter the mess of devouring loaded nachos...you might have some oil stains along the way but it all eventually works out.
