New Art Ministry for Everyone
Arts at St. Bart’s is a collective to foster a sense of community and creativity through various art projects. We believe the transforming power of arts enhances our worship, actions and outreach to bring the radical love of Jesus Christ to our faith family, our community and our world. Read more about the ministry here .

FIRST PROJECT: This is a parish-wide invitation to “transform hate into love.” No art experience is needed. Re-read Message for this time of transformation . When you read and reflect on this letter, what image does God place on your heart? Select a single word and create a piece of art depicting this word and conveying the image God has shown you. Your art should be no larger than 8-1/2 x 11 inches. Art submissions are due by July 12. Once complete, take a photo of your art and email it to art@stbartschurch.org . Detailed instructions can be found on our webpage .

ADULT FORMATION
The Holy Spirit Bible Study
Wednesday, Through August 5, 10:30 a.m., Zoom
What do you know about the Holy Spirit ? The Holy Spirit is mentioned a lot more than we realize in both the Old Testament and the New Testament. Still, most of us know very little about the Holy Spirit. During this 12-session Bible study, we will learn about the Holy Spirit who is with us on a daily basis. The class includes a 30-minute video and discussion before and after the video (similar to how we conducted previous classes on campus, except you have to supply your own treats). Please contact Bob Capettini for an invitation to the Zoom meeting.

If you would like to receive a brief training session on how to use Zoom videoconferencing software on your laptop, iPad, or smartphone, please contact Andrew Horne , Mike Jewett , or Robert Leiter .
Tuesday, 2-3 p.m., on Zoom
During these unprecedented times, we would like to provide an additional opportunity for study and fellowship as an offering to men in the parish who may not be able to participate on Friday mornings. Please join us for a Zoom-based weekly one hour discussion group on Tuesdays. We will start a discussion centered on Bishop Michael Curry’s book Crazy Christians . We will plan to discuss one chapter each week. Please email Beth Dean for a Zoom invitation to the meeting.
