Phil Church, County of Oswego

Phil Church, County Administrator at the County of Oswego, will provide a welcome and keynote remarks on Wednesday morning. Phil will tell the story of how four counties and the state came together to nominate southeastern Lake Ontario to become a National Marine Sanctuary. Read more.

Dylan Carey, Parks & Trails New York

Dylan Carey, Greenway Program Director at Parks & Trails New York (PTNY), will speak on NY's Great Outdoors Panel and discuss the greenway trail network and share some of the resources available to promote these amenities and highlight ways that tourism agencies can help local communities make sure they’re ready to welcome these visitors. Travel Show Recap: Adirondack Sports Summer Expo

NYSTIA exhibited at the Adirondack Sports Summer Expo at the Saratoga Springs City Center in Saratoga Springs, New York on March 18-19. We were able to add this show to our schedule at no additional cost to our Tourism Champions because of your robust support! NYSTIA team members were able to join me at the show, with Ryan Maerklein attending on Saturday and Rachele Markle joining on Sunday.

EV Charging Funding Opportunity Available

The Department of Transportation (DOT) announced a new grant program that will fund the installation of EV chargers and other alternative fuel infrastructure. The $700 million funding opportunity is part of the DOT's ongoing initiative to build a national charging network of 500,000 public chargers by 2023.
