Last weekend, NYSTIA exhibited at the 2nd Annual USA International Sportsman Show in Pittsburgh, PA. The three-day sportsman show has a lot of hunters, fishermen, and travelers looking for unique outdoor travel experiences. There was a focus on camping, hiking, and opportunities to ride motorcycles in New York State.

- Last week, NYSTIA Advocacy Committee Co-Chair Jeff Shipley, Committee Member Josiah Brown, and NYSTIA's Bob Provost, along with many other NYSTIA members, attended the NYSHTA Tourism Advocacy Day in Albany, held by the New York State Hospitality & Tourism Association (NYSHTA). They were involved in over a dozen meetings with Senate and Assembly leadership, and had many productive discussions. You can view their comprehensive one-pager here. As a reminder, Mark Dorr, NYSHTA President, will be providing legislative updates at the 2024 NYS Tourism Conference.
