NOTICE OF ANNUAL MEETING OF THE MEMBERS OF THE NORTH CAROLINA PORK COUNCIL
In accordance with provisions stated in Article VIII of the North Carolina Pork Council Bylaws, notice is hereby given that the Annual Meeting of the members of the Council will be held on Thursday, March 21, at 7:30 a.m. at the Hilton Raleigh North Hills in Raleigh. The purpose of the meeting is to present a proposed amendments to the North Carolina Pork Council’s Bylaws, update the members on activities and events from 2018, along with financials and reports from national organizations.

BYLAWS CHANGES
Balloting:
Add a line that allows for electronic balloting if approved in advance by the Board of Directors.

NC Pork Council Districts:
NC Pork Council (NCPC) elects directors from four (4) districts. A temporary Bylaw Provision will allow for the elections to be realigned with the intended and expected result is that, beginning with the Dec. 2022 Election, the Board will again reach its intended result of electing six (6) members in each election cycle from the Districts.
