October is a time when leaders are planning for 2023 and addressing trends that impact their business - in addition to celebrating with candy and costumes and drinking pumpkin-y drinks.
Moving into 2023, organizations are still working to fill the continued labor demands for their workforce. Both upskilling and recruiting - contract and permanent - are areas on the minds of CEO's we are working with.
We've discussed the need to continue to upskill your workforce, or retrain people for roles that may be shifting with the changing economy - say from customer service to collections.
Encouraging CEO's to think about boomerang employees is a strategy we've been highlighting too. This means reaching out to talented former employees to see where they are (i.e. are they happy and challenged?) and if they would consider returning to a culture and workplace they're familiar with, as well as potentially those candidates who turned down job offers in the last few years.
