Greetings From The Library Staff

Dear Friend,

Springtime is finally here, and the days are getting longer and brighter.  It’s great to see our friends and neighbors venturing out and soaking up a bit of sunshine in our backyard.  A couple of days ago, we even had a family enjoying a leisurely picnic on the patio.  What joy!

In the spirit of the season, we are launching a host of fresh events and new programs, including our updated and improved Museum Pass Program and a springtime haiku competition.  More details below.

There’s always lots going on in our little library – so if you haven’t visited for a while, come on in.  You’ll love it here.

Warm regards,

Lotte

Staff Reading Suggestion

In this Percy Jackson meets The Hunger Games novel, semidios Teo must compete in an ancient ritual to replenish the sacred Sun Stone that protects his homeland. Teo is thrust into a complex set of trials with other demigods, all of whom have more training, magical abilities, and support than he does. Wonderfully complex characters and a rich Mexican mythology take center stage in this edge-of your seat adventure novel.
