Greetings From The Library Staff

Dear Friend,

February has arrived! It’s still winter but the days are longer, and when it’s not pouring outside, it’s nice to get out for a late afternoon walk!

The Asian Lunar New Year begins on February 10. We have a very nice display of holiday-related picture books in the children’s room, and this month's crafternoon will have a fun New Year’s craft for kids.

Of course, Valentine’s Day looms large this month as well. The deadline for our Valentine Haiku competition is February 9. Don’t forget to submit your poem in time for the prize drawing.

Looking ahead to spring, the library is partnering with the Native Plant Society of New Jersey to sponsor a series of gardening programs highlighting the joys of attracting pollinators by planting native plants. Stay tuned!

Warm regards,

Lotte
