Greetings From The Library Staff

Dear Friend,

School’s finally out, and our Summer Reading program for kids is in full swing.  Ms. Jes and Ms. Kaitlin registered 35 participants at the library’s booth at the Boonton Farmer’s Market last Saturday.  What a great way to start.  If you haven’t already signed up your child, there’s still time; the program runs through August 28.  It’s fun, it’s easy, and there are lots of great activities and incentives to keep reading throughout the summer months.

Our “Summer of Art” for adults, ages 16 and up, kicked off with a fully booked mini-series of watercolor workshops with Susan Sopira.  There are still openings for the Radical Embroidery workshops and Laurie Harden’s 3-session series of pencil sketching for beginners.  So if getting creative is on your summer bucket list, your hometown library is where it’s at!

Looking forward to seeing you soon,

Lotte
