Greetings From The Library Staff

Dear Friend,

March 20 marks the first official day of spring in New Jersey. I, for one, am looking forward to warmer and longer days – and getting back outside after a long, cold February.

With the new consortium-wide software conversion, we have some big changes coming up this month. The changes will mostly affect the backend users, the library staff, so hopefully, the transition will seem smooth and effortless to our patrons. However, you should know that all patron account passwords will be reset between March 24 and 26. This is to ensure that the previous software vendor is unable to access private information in the new system. Please contact the library staff for information about your new password and how to reset it.

Looking forward to seeing you soon at the Boonton Holmes Library!

Warm regards,

Lotte

HOLDS HIATUS FEBRUARY 14-MARCH 21

On March 24, all Main libraries will transition to a new library circulation and cataloging software to manage the shared catalog of 3 million items in the system. In order to streamline the transition, patrons will not be able to place holds between February 14 and March 24. Holds placed before February 14 will be honored, and all other library functions will continue as usual.
