The Design Team Continues to Bring the Overlook at Canalside Park Back to Life

Over the last few weeks, members of the Boonton Main Street Design team has been hard at work sanding, painting and installing new seating and guide rails at the Overlook.  Some private donations have been contributed by generous individuals on the team, and the Canal Society of New Jersey has generously donated $1,000 to help pay for the revitalization of the viewing platform.  When the work is done, the Canal Society will be installing an interpretive panel that will tell the visitor about the canal and water-power aspects of Boonton's history that can be viewed from the Overlook.  The Design team is still looking for donations to hit their goal of $3K to complete the project.  If you would like to contribute to help this project, please
