Chinese Moon Festival Celebration at Sinofilia

Join Sinofilia on Saturday and Sunday, September 22nd and 23rd, for a special tea ceremony commemorating the Chinese Mid-Autumn Moon Festival. Reserve your 1-hour slot (10am-7pm) ASAP by  calling Feng Xiao at  201-921-8059 . Questions welcome.

Cost is the regular tea ceremony price of $50 for up to 3 people, plus $5 for each additional person. Included will be delicious moon cakes,  traditionally consumed in celebration of this day. Sinofilia's special moon cakes are vegan and taste wonderful with tea! Supply is limited, so moon cakes are only available to those who have reserved a slot.

The Chinese tea ceremony  is a unique way of learning about tea, and tasting a selection of several teas of your choice. It is both a practical sampling of merchandise (you can buy tea afterwards) and a ritual of deep appreciation of a special plant, the soil that supports it, and the Chinese culture.

2018 Holiday Wreath Design Project

Boonton Main Street is gearing up for the 2018 holiday season! Boonton Main Street's design team is looking for donations for their annual wreath project. These wreaths are decorated and hung along Main Street to bring holiday cheer to Boonton's business district.

Our goal is to transform 12 wreaths  for the 2018 holiday season, and each wreath costs about $80. Help us reach our goal of $1,000! Over time wreaths wear in quality, but through hand decoration, our design team can sustain them. While a few have already been made, we need funds to continue. The more we raise the more wreaths we can make!

Click here to donate! We thank you for supporting our initiatives to beautify Main Street!
